BIOLEA Astrikas Estate restaurant aims to create a culinary journey based on extra virgin olive oil. With respect to seasonality and carefully chosen fresh ingredients from local producers, unfolds a creative menu based on olive oil, sensory memories and authentic Cretan flavors. For this reason our restaurant aims to present set menus paired with olive oil as an experience rather than a meal!
To experience our culinary olive oil journey you may book one of our chef’s pairing menus or join the tour A Walk with the Owner & Chef’s Pairing Menu. Our menus are flexible to dietary requirements and allergies as long as we know about them in advance.
This year our restaurant also offers a “Kafeneion” experience open to all visitors. A limited a la carte menu of very traditional mezes bringing us back to the old village coffee house experience! Visitors can also enjoy there our specialty coffees, home-made beverages and cocktails & carefully selected local wines. The Kafeneion will work on a first-come-first-serve basis.
